Designing Training That Moves with the Energy of a Global Giant
When your business powers the world, your people need training that powers them. That was the challenge
facing one of the world’s largest exploration and production companies-operating across 14 countries and
responsible for over $120 billion in assets.
In high-risk, high-performance environments-refineries, offshore platforms, shipping terminals-compliance
isn’t optional. Neither is clarity.
The Need
This global energy company was seeking a long-term partner to build scalable, high-impact digital training
experiences that could:
- – Be accessed by a globally dispersed and often remote workforce
– Provide critical safety and compliance knowledge
– Onboard workers safely and efficiently into hazardous environments
– Integrate seamlessly with their existing LMS infrastructure (SABA Learning, later SuccessFactors)
Traditional training methods were no longer practical. They needed an agile, scalable solution that preserved
the depth of content without sacrificing interactivity or engagement.
Our Solution: 3 Core Services
1. Creative Instructional Design & Development
We crafted over 100 eLearning modules spanning:
– Compliance training (manual handling, PPE, incident reporting, etc.)
– Site inductions for gas refineries and shipping terminals
– Software training tailored to internal platforms
These modules included:
– Real-world scenarios
– Interactive assessments and knowledge checks
– Clear behavioural objectives aligned with safety goals
– SCORM 1.2 compliance with bookmarking and LMS integration
Many modules were designed to be accessible offline (via CD-ROM or internal drives) for teams with limited
internet access.

3. Project Management & LMS Integration
We provided a structured, responsive project delivery framework that included:
– Regular review and update meetings
– Fast-paced content delivery (21 modules in under 90 days for MHF certification)
– End-to-end LMS compatibility testing and deployment
– Troubleshooting and compliance tracking mechanisms
Modules were tested rigorously in both SABA Learning and SuccessFactors environments and configured to report completion status, assessment scores, and bookmarking capabilities.

2. Media Production & User Experience Design
To create engaging learning environments, we deployed:
– Custom UX wireframes and interactive prototypes
– Professional-grade animations and explainer visuals
– Drone-shot safety walkthroughs filmed onsite
– Voiceover recordings tailored to multiple audience types
Each piece was branded to reflect the client’s internal language, culture, and visual standards-ensuring familiarity and engagement from the first screen.
